About Sandbox

Two companies. One platform.
Every sport in the world.

Sandbox is a cooperation between Promotheus and Segev Sport — bringing together world-class broadcast design and real-world sport data expertise to create something neither could have built alone.

Why Sandbox exists

One saw the story. The other knew the data.

Promotheus had built some of the most visually compelling sports broadcast graphics in the world. But they knew that real tactical storytelling required a live, manipulable AR environment — one that could ingest real tracking data and render it as on-air narrative in real time.

Segev Sport had spent years as the people who make broadcast graphics actually work — installing hardware at venues, connecting to scoreboards and data feeds, operating graphics remotely across time zones for federations and networks worldwide. They understood sport data infrastructure from the ground up.

Sandbox is what happened when those two capabilities came together. A platform designed to the highest broadcast creative standard, built on the kind of operational rigour that only comes from years of running live sport.

The partners

Two companies. Equal weight.

Promotheus is one of Israel's leading broadcast creative and technology companies. For over a decade, they have been building the visual language of live television — designing AR environments, virtual studios, and real-time graphics systems for the biggest broadcasters in the country and internationally.

They have created broadcast campaigns and graphics systems for Kan, Keshet, Sport 5, YES, NBC Sports, ESPN, and Fox Sports. When a broadcaster needs to raise the visual standard of their sport coverage, Promotheus is the call they make.

Their work on Tour de France coverage for NBC Sports earned an Emmy nomination for sports broadcasting excellence — with Sandbox-powered AR analysis at the centre of it.

What Promotheus brings to Sandbox

  • Emmy-nominated AR broadcast design and engineering
  • Virtual production and real-time graphics technology
  • A decade of broadcast creative work at international scale
  • The visual and narrative language of sport on television

Segev Sport are the operators. They are the team in the truck, at the arena, and on the phone when the scoreboard connection drops ninety minutes before tip-off.

Specialists in broadcast graphics infrastructure, Segev Sport provides elite on-air graphics controllers and dedicated technical service for live sport events globally — from premier league football to international basketball to election night broadcasts.

Their work spans football, basketball, cycling, and entertainment — with clients including Sport 5, FIBA Media, IMG, and national and international sports federations. As the official remote graphics partner for the FIBA Continental Cup, they provide complete in-venue rigging and remote operations for host broadcasters across dozens of countries, every season.

What sets them apart isn't just what they build — it's that they operate it, live, under pressure, every time. They know how sport data actually flows from sensor to screen. That knowledge is built into Sandbox.

What we believe

Three things we keep coming back to.

01

Sport tells its own story. Our job is to make sure the broadcast catches up.

02

One company made it look extraordinary. The other made it work at 2am in a venue in Copenhagen.

03

Sandbox is what happens when broadcast design meets broadcast operations.
