Multi-class, multi-hour racing is one of the hardest sports to follow on television. Sandbox built FIA WEC a complete, real-time broadcast graphics language — woven straight into the program.

The challenge

Several races, happening at once, for hours.

Endurance racing runs multiple classes on the same track for hours at a time. Position, strategy, pit windows and class standings all shift constantly — and without a clear visual system, even committed fans lose the thread of who is actually winning what.

FIA WEC needed more than a scattering of lower-thirds. It needed a coherent graphics language that could carry the whole story of the race.

The solution

One integrated system, built into the program.

Sandbox delivered a full real-time graphics language for the championship — car positioning, multi-class standings (LMP1, GTE and more), starting grid, sector timing, and strategy and pit-window analysis — designed as a single, consistent visual system rather than a pile of separate overlays. The graphics are fully integrated into the program's look, so the data reads as part of the broadcast, not pasted on top of it.
